DIRECTOR

Jennifer Quintas is the Multi-Site School Age Director.  Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and her Master of Education Degree from National Louis University.  Jennifer has been on staff since 1991, beginning her career as a Group Leader in the Before/After School Program.  In 1993 Jennifer became a teacher in the Kindergarten Program and Site Coordinator for the School Age Summer Camp.  In 2001 Jennifer became the Multi-Site School Age Program Director where she oversees the Wesley’s Kindergarten Enrichment Program, Wesley’s Before/After School Program, and Wesley’s School Age Summer Camp Program.

SCHOOL AGE STAFF
Linda Hoth is a teacher in the Wesley Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  Linda has been at Wesley since 1989.  Linda Holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College.  This is Linda’s fourth year as the Kindergarten Teacher.  Previously, Linda held the position of Preschool Teacher with Wesley Child Care Center.

Marc Lazik is a teacher in the Wesley Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  This is Marc’s Third year as the Kindergarten teacher but he has been with Wesley since 1996.  Previously Marc was a Site Coordinator in Wesley’s Before/After School Program at Lyon School.  Marc is also the Site Coordinator in Wesley’s School Age Summer Camp.  Marc holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University.

Kristen Schoonmaker is a Teacher’s Assistant in the Wesley Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  Kristen has been with Wesley since the summer of 2002 starting out as a Group Counselor in Wesley’s School Age Summer Camp.  Kristen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Art.  She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education.     

Valerie Bledsoe is a Teacher’s Assistant in the Wesley Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  Valerie has been with Wesley since the fall of 2002 where she started out as a Group Leader in the Before/After School Program.  Valerie has also worked as an assistant in Wesley Child Care Center’s Preschool Program. Valerie holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and has a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College.  Valerie is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from National-Louis University.

Katie Kopelman is a Site Coordinator in the Before/After School Program at Henking/Hoffman School.  This is Katie’s third year with Wesley.  Katie is also a Group Counselor in Wesley’s School Age Summer Camp.  Katie has previous work experience as a recreation leader for the Chicago Health Club’s Camp. Katie is also pursuing her degree in social work.

Kathy Walstrom is a Group Leader in the Before School Program at Henking School.  Kathy has been with Wesley since 1997. Kathy is also the School Nurse at Henking School.
